AVmedia names Joe Crean as Vice President of Sales.

AVmedia, Inc. announces the appointment of Joe Crean as the company’s new Vice President of Sales. Joe brings over 28 years of industry experience and shares AVmedia’s unrelenting passion for our people and our clients. Joe’s passion for customer collaboration, building and mentoring teams and his genuine belief that all customers - big and small - must have a truly unforgettable and immersive experience make him the perfect fit and an ideal leader for AVmedia during this time of growth and opportunity. Joe graduated from Michigan State University in 1988 with a degree in Telecommunications (Audio Engineering and Radio Production), and a minor in Music Education. After two years working at a major radio station in Detroit, he moved to Texas in 1990 where he began his career in the AV industry with Swank Audio Visuals as a technician. Through the years, Joe advanced quickly through many roles, eventually becoming the Regional VP of Event Sales for Florida where his responsibilities were to lead the sales staff in the development, planning and execution of sales strategies at venues across the state.

Throughout his 28+ year career, Joe developed a broad range of experience in all aspects of audio visual production and sales. He has personally partnered with thousands of companies in the creative development of their programs from simple events to multi-media staged productions. In addition to these responsibilities, Joe was instrumental throughout the years in developing sales training & mentorship programs that have had a significant impact on many of our industry’s best sales people.
